Bill In Five

Nonpartisan Policy

Bill In Five exists to make civic participation accessible to everyone, regardless of political affiliation. Nonpartisanship isn't a marketing claim here — it's a set of concrete commitments.

We select and describe bills based on their legislative content and status, not on which party introduced them or which side of an issue they favor. Our "What it does," "Why it matters," and "How it affects us" summaries are written in plain, factual language, without editorializing for or against a bill's outcome.

We do not endorse candidates, parties, or ballot measures, and we never will.

Bill In Five is fully free to use and does not run political fundraising of any kind. We don't ask for donations, and we don't route users into a fundraising funnel. Our only goal is to help you understand legislation and make your voice heard, if you choose to.

Pre-written messages we provide for contacting Congress reflect the stated purpose of the bill itself and give users a way to voice their own opinion — they are not written to advance a partisan position.

If you ever find content on this site that reads as one-sided, we want to know about it — accuracy and neutrality are the foundation of what we're trying to build.
